You can download and install our Ultimate Settings Panel program (for free) and run Firefox Safe Mode from there, or you can hold down the Shift key (Windows) or Option key (Mac) while restarting the browser which will launch it into Safe mode. How do I get Firefox to run in Safe mode?

If it works in safe mode then you can assume that one of your plugins is causing the problem. If this does not solve the problem then you can restart your Firefox browser in Safe Mode which will disable all browser plugins.
